So you’re interesting in getting into journalism but don’t know where to start? That’s exactly where I was when my journey started back when I was 16, in the five years since I have gone on to write for The Times, The Mirror, The Tab, help to launch Politics UK’s news website, and have a reporting job at The National. I wanted to start this guide to shine a light on these early years and help people who were in my position at the start find their way.
I searched all over YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn and every forum I could find but so little *actually* answered the question: Where the hell do I start?
It would be disingenous for me to say nowhere did though, so if you’re looking for some other smashing pages to get started, visit Journo Resources and Freelancing for Journalists.
